I sometimes lament to Yair about the amount of effort that it takes to identify cool events and activities as we travel. Not so on Sunday.
We had overnighted on a quiet and inconspicuous street in Oakland not far from the BART, naturally waking up at around 8 AM to a leisurely morning of breakfast and reading. At around 10:30 AM, we pulled open the blinds to discover a huge market and crafts fair practically in our bedroom.

Quite literally as we slept, an entire world of artisans, vendors and consumers had materialized around us (and seemingly for us!) and we started our Sunday by exploring the market and picking up a few fun buys.
